Cross House was built at the turn of the century and was a working farmhouse until the 1980s. It retains many of its original features including the magnificent open fireplace in the guest sitting room. The house has been sensitively adapted for bed and breakfast using environmentally friendly materials wherever possible

Wayside guest accommodation & Whisky Barn is situated at the base of Black Combe, surrounded by stunning scenery and the Cumbria coast.  The accommodation has been carefully and tastefully renovated from a barn and has kept many original features. All four stylish bedrooms are ensuite and have got fabulous fittings.  All rooms have digital TV, computer broadband access, telephone and coffee and tea making facilities.
Evening meals are available throughout the week and are freshly prepared with local produce.

The caravan is situated with magnificent views on a family owned working hill farm with beef cattle and sheep, in the most picturesque part of the south western Lake District.
The 2003 model luxury caravan is extremely welcoming, comfortable and fully equipped. There are two bedrooms, one double, one twin and a fold out double bed in the lounge area. We supply all bedding, but you do need to bring your own towels. Cot and high chair are available for hire if required (£5 each per week).
